Greetings and salutations!
For this week's screenshots, a look at the progress made on the first of the lower tombs, and a glimpse of the room beyond:
The week just past once again focussed primarily on building the first level--but there were a few technical challenges and changes, too.

Reworking Mural Distressing
Greetings and salutations!
For this week's screenshot (or rather screenshots), the revised versions of the murals that I believe that I showed last week:

A Variety of Progress
Greetings and salutations!
Once again, I have a few images to share this week, and so intend to scatter them throughout the post. They should be a little more relevant to their preceding paragraphs than were last week's, however!
To start with, a look at two of the murals adorning walls in the lower tombs. Though somewhat damaged, they're far better preserved than those in the entry-room:
The week just past was a productive one, I feel, and one with a bit of variety: I worked on level-geometry, UI-textures, the logic and UI of the save-game system, and the aforementioned murals. To elaborate:

Saving and Loading Revisited
Greetings and salutations!
This week I have a few screenshots to show, covering the progress made towards the first level. As a result, I intend to scatter them throughout the post, both preventing this initial section from becoming too long and breaking up the text below. None of the rooms shown are complete, but they're getting there, I believe.
To start with, the room at the foot of the spiral stairs. It's a simple ante-room--but flakes of paint on the walls suggest that there were paintings here once, the forms of which are now lost. (The model used for the table is intended to be temporary.)
This week was another productive one, I feel! Conceptually, it was split between technical matters and artistic ones:

Deeper into the Tombs
Greetings and salutations!
For this week's screenshot, an update of sorts to last week's gif: some books and pages can now be read, having survived the passage of years rather better than the book shown last week:
The week just past was a fairly productive one, I think!
